Safic-Alcan, a major distributor of specialty chemicals worldwide, announces that it has acquired a majority stake in Anders, a regional specialty chemical distributor, leader in South America.

Established in 1964, Anders is now in its third generation under the leadership of Peter Anders Hornung. This footprint positions Anders as a truly pan–Latin American player and the perfect complement to Safic-Alcan’s existing operations in Brazil.
