Advanced Gas Systems has been acquired by Safe Monitoring Group

The Irish company Advanced Gas Systems Ltd (AGSL), a specialist in gas safety and fire suppression solutions, was acquired by Safe Monitoring Group, a Swedish industrial group that focuses on gas detection and safety monitoring systems.

The sell-side financial advisor was FOCUS Capital Partners, our M&A Worldwide Partners in Ireland.

Safe Monitoring Group (backed by Swedish private equity firm Alder) acquired AGSL to expand its capabilities in gas safety and fire suppression and integrate AGSL’s offerings with its broader gas detection portfolio.

The acquisition provides benefits such as collaboration on R&D, marketing, procurement, sales and service across the combined group.
