Grupo Financiero Atlântida acquired 100% of shares of HDI Seguros Ecuador,S.A.

We are pleased to announce that ProventusProventus AdvisorsQuito, Ecuador, our Partners in Ecuador,  was the exclusive financial advisor to HDI International A.G. in the sale of its Ecuadorian subsidiary, HDI Seguros Ecuador S.A. (formerly Liberty Seguros S.A.), to Grupo Financiero Atlántida.

The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close in 2025.

This sale represents a strategic move for HDI International AG as it seeks to focus on its larger-scale operations in Latin America. HDI Seguros Ecuador S.A. will become part of a large financial group with a strong presence in Central America and Ecuador.
